New Toys

Nathan had a wonderful birthday thanks to all his family and friends. I would post pictures but the dog ate the memory card so you'll have to settle for a few videos of Nathan playing with some of his new toys. Nathan is such a lucky little boy to have so many people that love him so much. Thank you so much to everyone for making Nathan's first birthday so special.

Nathan's adventures!

Last weekend, Nick, Natalie and Cayle came into town for a baseball game. We made baseball cupcakes to celebrate Cayle's first Cubs game.

Cayle was sleeping here.....he should have saved his nap for the 8th inning when the Rockies scored 12 runs.

Nathan needed a break from the game so we wandered around the concourse for awhile. We found some fun photo ops. Maybe he's destined to be a major leaguer.

We found cousin Landon's boots in one of our bins and Nathan loves them!!! THey are so funny. I guess every kid in the family is bound to love John Deere! Grandpa Tony, Nathan's ready to come home to use his work boots!

Guess we should get him some other clothes to go with the boots.

Nathan's Obsession with Swimming continues......

So Nathan's obsession with the water continues. We walked outside on the deck and he took off towards the pool and dove right in.

Have I mentioned that Nathan loves the water. This was at a local park and the water was freezing cold, but Nathan didn't care one bit.

July is off with a bang

We had a great time hanging out with friends in Kentucky for the 4th of July. One afternoon we decided to improvise and make our own pool for Nathan and Brennen to play in. I mean, once the beer is gone why not use the cooler for a pool.

When we got back to Colorado, the Cardinals were in town playing the Rockies. Here's Nathan at his first Cardinals game.

Nathan is a true Texas-born boy.....he loves him some bbq sauce. His dad is so proud.

New Entertainment

Well, we went and got the baby gate and I've used it to block off the whole front of the house because Nathan likes to walk around the coffee table (lots of sharp corners) in the front room and climb up the stairs. The problem is that sometimes Cooper likes to go to the front room to get some peace and quiet from Nathan. So today when I gave her a bone to chew on and Nathan started chasing her around to take her bone away, I put her in the front room to be all by herself and enjoy her bone in peace. A little later on, this was the scene.
