RMNP and Colorado Springs

Kimmie came out to visit us this summer and we got to see all kinds of fun stuff. We went to RMNP and to Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. We also got to see the neatest giraffe exhibit at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Nathan got to pet and feed the giraffes. He wasn't too sure what to think about their long black tongues.

Rocky Mountain National Park

When our friends, Josh and Sarah, came out to visit us, we drove out to Rocky Mountain National Park. The photos don't do it justice.

We saw a Moose!

At the top of RMNP, about 12,000 ft. It was a little breezy, but the chilly air felt good after all the summer heat.

This is why we LOVE living in Colorado!

Beth's Wedding

Aunt Beth was such a beautiful bride when she married Matt this summer. And Nathan had such a great time being in the wedding.
The Bills boys know how to rock a tux!
(More wedding pictures to come!)

The wagon in the background is the one Nathan got to help push up the aisle.

Decatur Zoo

When we were in Illinois this summer, we took Landon and went to the Zoo in Decatur. We met some of our best friends there. Nathan, Landon, Ridge and Grace loved the zoo and the playground at Scovill.

This Baby Goat was Nathan's favorite.

Easter

I wasn't sure what Nathan would think of Easter Egg hunting this year, but we decided to go the little neighborhood hunt, anyway. AND, of course, Nathan LOVED it! I literally had to hold him back when he saw the eggs sitting in the grass. How do you explain to a 20 month old that he has to have patience when there are all these colorful "balls" all over the yard....

Not wanting to wait....

They blew the whistle and he was off....

He wasn't even phased when the big kids came our direction.

Still looking for eggs.

I guess he wanted to start over.

And now we're finally figuring out that there are treats inside.

He's growing up so fast!

Mother Son Pics

Our sweet friend Christy came to visit one weekend while Dad was gone and we did a quick impromptu photo session because she knows how to use my camera better than I do! So we jumped the fence in the back yard and got some pics on the trail behind our house. Nathan and I never get our picture taken together because I'm usually the one behind the camera so these pictures are very special! Thanks for taking these for us Christy, I love them.

Doesn't he look so sweet and innocent here!

Always checking things out.

Nathan waving to the camera!

Onry Face! Boy, that expression spells trouble doesn't it.

This is how Nathan gives kisses now! Like the puppy. I'm glad he wasn't cooperating or I would have had slober all over my face, again!

On the move.

He's faster than he looks.
